[NEWS] The Last Door Season 2 on Early Access
By Dan Spence on October 27th 2015
As of today, the collector’s edition for season 2 of The Last Door has been added to Steam Early Access.
The Last Door is a low-res point and click adventure/horror game, influenced by the works of H.P. Lovecraft and Edgar Allen Poe. I reviewed season 1 of the game back in May and praised it for its stunning visuals and incredible, tense atmosphere.
The developers (The Game Kitchen) have opted to release this currently incomplete version of the collector’s edition so that players may access the game’s new episodes as soon as they are released.
According to The Game Kitchen:
“The full version of Season 2 will include four complete and polished episodes, plus a number of bonus features, including Steam achievements and trading cards, mini-sodes, and the gorgeous soundtrack by Carlos Viola! We also plan to translate the game to FIGS for the full release, and the game will be available for PC, Mac, and Linux platforms.”
Season 2 of The Last Door is available on Steam for the reduced price of £5.59 (until the rest of the episodes are completed). Or if you’ve still yet to play the first season, it can also be purchased on Steam for just £6.99. I’d highly recommend it.
